Maria  finally received appropriate advocacy to address longstanding deficiencies in her education. Eventually, she transferred to an alternative high school where she received personalized educational services, and a tutor. She now volunteers at local hospital; worked  to make up her missing credits, and is looking forward to graduating with her class in 2019.
